This robot is an engineer, a bomb demolition expert that is not really as capable as his postulating would suggest.

The model was all plastic and kit parts with magnets for some of the joints. He has lights behind his eyes. I often come up with the designs based on kit parts I find.

I have a rough idea of the character and what it does, then let the kit parts inform the final look. This is a fun process as I usually don’t know what it will look like until finished.
